It became the largest branded space lyophilized product on Earth – space sublimated ice cream – classic sealer, made according to the technology of cooking food for astronauts. This is regular ice cream, from which the moisture has been removed (and oxygen too) using the lyophilization process.
By the way, ice cream specially developed by Whirlpool Corporation for the NASA Apollo program and included in the menu of NASA astronauts back in 1985 year – I have never been in space like this, but became a popular space product on Earth.
For the production of such sublimated ice cream, real space technologies are used - lyophilization in a vacuum and, of course, at negative temperatures, so that it does not melt!
The product dries from the frozen state, without turning into a liquid - in special Bulova sublimation dryers, only very expensive and especially valuable substances are dried this way, to preserve all properties and trace elements! And the cost of sublimation drying - it can be several times higher than the cost of the materials being dried - it is the most expensive and energy-consuming method of drying substances known on Earth!

The weight of a pack of ice cream in total 39 gram, and the shelf life in the package - 10 years! The product is lyophilized and does not contain preservatives. This is a natural product, this ice cream, only sublimated.
This is ice cream for winter! It is not cold and certainly not melting, because it is completely dry (the product does not contain moisture) and sooo much (simply cosmic) deliciously!
